Curia Curiosa December 2014 Pamplona


From 28th to 30th November Unpacking Navarra Antique fair 2014 held at the Palacio de Congresos Baluarte in Pamplona.

This event especially dedicated to vintage and retro decor, is located this year in the center of Pamplona; this makes improve both the services as access for all who wishes to attend.

This year the exhibitors’ number increase and there will be firms from France, Germany and Spain.

Objects that may be found in this show have a minimum of 40 years and most of the time an interesting story behind them.

It is a must for lovers of antiques because they can find a large sample of antiques of all kinds; well it is worth mentioning the presence of large specialists.


On Saturday December 20th will be held at the Curia Street in Pamplona the sixth edition of Curia Curiosa, preceded by the great success of the previous ones.

It could be defined as an open-air market held in one of the oldest and most famous streets of Pamplona, street Curia.

The initiative comes from the traders themselves, trying in this way to update this historic setting, increasing trade and publicizing the creations of various artists and craftsmen.

From ten in the morning until three in the afternoon products from shops of this street and from their guests will be showed and sold.

There will be 60 participants, with different types of products such as original headdresses, turbans, brooches, jewelry, recycled furniture, dolls, fashion, photographs, paintings etc.

All will be located in the street Curia and Cathedral Square, where you can find the plastic artists.

Also involved some local bars and you can enjoy musical performances throughout the morning.

Some of the local street Curia are the Tetería Especialité, Pharmacy Garate Beltran, bookstore cafe Atom Ant, The Cab, with its reclaimed furniture, ceramics workshop Niu, Beruta, textile art workshop, Hari Ari textile workshop, Laiola with her jewels and restored furniture, Danye with contemporary African handcrafted pieces, and art workshop Bidari.
