San Fermín Marathon 42K – Pamplona June 2018
On June 16th, just a few days before the famous San Fermín festivities, the fifth edition of the Navarra Marathon will take place in the city of Pamplona, covering over 42 kilometers.
In addition to the main category, the “Sanfermín marathon,” there will be two other races: a half marathon and a 10-kilometer race, both shorter in distance and difficulty. All three races will be held on Saturday evening, June 16th, 2018.
The prices to participate in each race are as follows: €40 for the marathon, €25 for the half marathon, and €15 for the 10-kilometer race.
Each race will have different surfaces along its route: asphalt, concrete, dirt paths, and tiles. They will start from Plaza del Castillo at eight o’clock in staggered waves and finish at Plaza de Toros.
The route of the “Sanfermín marathon” includes most neighborhoods of Pamplona as well as its green areas such as Biurdana Trinitarios Aranzadi Errepagaina Alfredo Landa Arrosadía La Vaguada y Vuelta del Castillo.
During their first lap around town runners will pass through many parts of Pamplona before focusing on the historic center for their final 15 kilometers which concludes at Plaza de Toros.
